About Us:

This all began about three years ago through the generosity
and love of the Sosbee family.
Becki and Toby, along with their children set out to help
a little unforgotten corner of their community.
Those in need…. Every other Saturday, and off days when
the need was there, people came to their little red barn and were greeted with
love, smiles, & blessings. No judgment.
Some time back my husband, my children, and I joined them in their efforts.
Along with just enjoying our time with my sister and my brother-in-law, we
began to see what a difference they were really making.
We slowing began adding families in our neighborhood. This
is all really beginning to grow!
There have been a lot of prayers, tears, joy, & hard
work but it’s all worth it.

James 2:15-16

"If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?"

Wrapping Up July....

Well our next distribution will be August 11th. Wow, we're posting for August already! It's hard to think that we're beginning to drop into the end of 2012. This year is really going fast! Every week we seem to be adding families. I wish our numbers were declining, I wish that more families were doing better, no children went to bed hungry. It would be great if there wasn't a need for SOWED, but as you know.... there is.  So we will be here doing what we can for those in need. We won't turn anyone away or make any demands. I will ask one thing of you.......when you see someone in need, please reach out. Share what you can, or bring them to our next distribution.
